Well, if yesterday is any indication, I'm back on track. I don't mind the static weight (2 weeks!) because of how I've been fudging it on the half-fast days. (Don't say that too quickly.) I think I'm ready to cut back and see some downward trends. I hate when I lie to myself.

Your intentions are good. If we keep making promises to ourselves, we'll eventually listen and do it.

I commented yesterday on Bri's post.I bring this up to you because her profile pic reads:STOP WISHING.START DOING. :) I too felt, last month, that saying I would do something & then failing to follow thru with it was lying to myself.I don't know if you recall any of my journals entitled XX amt of days of DOING what *I* said I WILL do or not,but I found that when I focus on fewer things I tend to actually get MORE done, especially did I find that I "wasn't lying" any longer :)Maybe you are trying to get too much done & it's hurting what you *really* want to get done?

That's a good point, Mya. I may be premature in trying to cut. I like to be really lean spring and summer. Right now I'm about 15 pounds higher than I was in the summer, but then summer was brutal on me emotionally with family stuff. I will sort it out. I read once that one of the dangers of low body fat is hypothermia. It's supposed to be -20 here tonight. Frankly, I'd be happy to stay where I'm at until after the holidays. Then a weight loss of 15 pounds or so should be pretty straight forward for May, though I hate the endless watching of weight. I don't know. I think I'll try to shave a little off - no, not the beard - before Christmas. Thanks for that insight.
