Back at home! Had a great workout and good day yesterday. Was able to get 142 grams of protein, 63 grams of carbs, and 30+ grams of fat in my diet. Fat should've been a bit higher but overall I'm pleased. Protein was a high for me! I also had a great workout. Warmed up on elliptical, lifted heavy on upper body and got a good ab/ core workout in as well. Back muscles are feeling a bit sore today. Today is bodypymp class. Have a blessed day everyone!

Great job on the protein and getting a good workout in. I always aim for my protein and my carbs and fats come secondary meaning if I am under a little on those I am ok.

Redporchlady, I aim for high protein as I weightlift as well. My nutritionist has me stay around 80-100 grams of carbs a day but not less than 60 unless I carb cycle. My fat should be between 40-50 grams a day but I rarely meet that.

Dallasgirl, I had to include a protein shake for a 2nd lunch in order to get my protein up. I am lactose intolerant ( I became lactose intolerant this past year) and I'm trying to see if I can reintroduce whey and dairy once in awhile. So far I'm feeling ok but I only drank 1/2 a shake. I also ate a huge piece of grilled chicken (over 6oz) last night with a side of cauliflower and broccoli.I included eggs and a bit of Greek yogurt with my lunch. 💜
