Despite sub 800 calorie fast day yesterday weighed in at 204.0 this morning. Will eat about 850 calories through the afternoon and then will do an hour on the treadmill when I get home. That should result in a better weigh in. Targeting about 2000 calories today.

I would be so frustrated Bill but you handle the ups and downs very well. Fingers crossed for a more prolonged 'down' soon :)

I always find the lower my body fat the more my weight swings. Sounds weird, but I think the body is more likely to store carbs as glycogen and so you get the water retention with the glycogen storage of carbs in the muscle. No water retention if the carb is converted to fats.

That's one more reason to not so focused on the scale and more on the tape and what you see at the end of your journey.

I completely agree with Northern! The "Idiot Box" tells you some information but not the whole picture!

I get so mad at my scale. I will be doing great, then get on the scale, and here we go. 4 pounds heavier. And for what? I can't stand it.
