WOW. I have now lost 40 frickin' kilos! I can not believe it! How amazing! I have been on a losing spree lately, maybe the body is compensating for my lack of weigh loss a couple of weeks ago? Doesn't matter, main thing is that I am still losing good chunks of weight and feeling soooo damn good about it. Today, I put on a jacket that belongs to my 17 year old daughter, and it fits! Wow! I look at my jeans before I put them on, and I still can not believe that I can fit them! I see them, and always think "wait, I got the wrong pair, these must be the next ones to fit in". Then I put them on and they are just perfect. :) Life is really, really good!

Thanks, guys! You know, I am one of those who have consistently failed at doing this all of my life - if I can do it, ANYONE can do it. It blows my mind. I met a coworker that I have not seen a while, she didn't even recognize me. :)

Awesome. Any time I think I'm struggling, I just think about what you've accomplished & it helps to keep me going. If you can do it, I can too. Congratulations & keep it up.

drypthyr, I truly am starting to believe that there is no "stuck" when doing this. I have lost weight consistently. I have not done much other than eating right and having the right attitude - exercise is definitely on the backburner, though I do walk a bit. I have bought weights with the best of intentions, but they are still in their box.
When I have gotten stuck, I have gotten REALLY impatient, but I have now seen over and over again that even if I have not lost anything for a week or two, it will eventually come off me fast again. I am in no hurry to lose the weight, and I think BECAUSE of that, I am losing it fast. How cool is that? :)

That's the same approach I'm taking. I'm eating good food & not too concerned how fast the weight comes off because I know it will. I'm under 220 pounds for the first time since I was a kid. It feels awesome. Saw your pics, too. You look great. TTYL

I appreciate it, dryp. I think half the mission truly is in the ability to think positive and KNOW that it is happening. It makes the "actual" mission so much easier.
