My weight has been plateaued the last 10 days, despite my eating very well, though I haven't done nearly as much exercise as I'd like- things just keep getting in the way (and leaving exercise till late afternoon is not a good idea in the rainy season). Happy this morning to see a drop on the scales at last- the weight plateau is probably due to water retention as often seems to be the case with me. I'm happy, regardless, that I am sticking to my healthy eating goals, keeping my Lent fast every day, and working my way through "Weight Loss God's Way" exercises to try to sort out my thinking. I feel healthier ad appreciate how much weight I have lost already, and am worrying less about the "goal" and how much weight I have to lose and by when. Instead, I'm thinking more in terms of looking after myself in the long-term.
