Jeanie, you've got this! It's all trial and error and you'll figure it out.

Try to journal everything here even if you have to guesstimate. It has really made a difference to me. If I have to stop and write it down here before I put it in my mouth I am much less likely to eat mindlessly (I am very prone to do this otherwise). Also I agree with HCB. Be kind to you. This is not an easy journey.

don't give up! I just did my first day of a meal plan and I'm fighting super hard with myself to not go on a binge (frosted flakes sound amazing right now!) but stay strong! Start again tomorrow!

I too have trouble in afternoon and seems like right after dinner I'm snacking till bedtime. I am trying to wait 20 min b4 I grab a new snack. It does seem to help. Also I prep snack bags so if I do snack, it's a healthier choice....💜

Hi Jeannie, I don't know why I haven't been seeing your posts lately. How have you been? It's really a struggle during these crazy times, but I know you can do this, I'm pulling for you. 💛💚💜

stay positive in your thoughts, and maybe think about whether you're eating because of emotional reasons first or if you truly are hungry. You got this! enjoy dinner with family!

Nothing is wrong with you! We spent years cultivating unhealthy habits and it takes time to reverse them. Try to break it down into each individual choice and plan your meals for the day. Weight fluctuates, you got this!

I do the same thing - I get mad at myself and feel defeated. Unfortunately, that seems to make dysfunctional eating worse (for me anyway). So I try to remember that I’m supposed to eat food that fuels my body, not food that the dysfunctional part of my brain tells me will make me feel better.
