The cake trouble did damage. Thankfully a strong defence has been build up, and it is no longer a problem. I also believe experimenting with carbs after exercise did no good. Fat burning is glycogen sparing, so my need for this is very low.
Extremely wet weather allowed for very few bicycle rides, which may have lead to reduced calf measurements.
Well, accept and repair over the next thirty days. There will be no more carb experimentation this time.
