Squats!! 👍🏾 Yeah you have the ability to take what is probably mostly a water gain and keep going to the gym to make good use of the glycogen created by the carbs. I 'panic' and 'tap out' Haha! I was able to do it only on vacation :( However, I will probably do it again this weekend because I have a 3 day weekend... Good luck!

Thanks guys!!❤️😁 I’m kinda sore. Not the glutes though. My hamstrings or just the muscle behind that part of my leg is sore. I tried to do the squats in a way that would work my glutes more. If I clinch my booty I can feel the muscle is a little tender. 😆😆

I was in panic mode for a few minutes when I saw my weight. I started thinking about what keto food I have available 🙃 wanting to go into damage control but that’s not necessary right now. It might get to that point and that’s fine but right now I can still steer this in the right direction 👍👍👍

Thanks guys 😄 I’m trying to remind myself of my main goal and otherwise go with the flow. I’m very stressed at work and at home so I’m trying not to be stressed about weight and fitness 😣 I just need to say No to cookies! Also, I’m totally down with experimenting to find new ways to workout or diet! Keeps it interesting 👍

I read on NPR where there was a highly controlled study where the participants had to stay at the facility to make sure everything they ate was tracked. They found that those who ate processed foods eat on average 500 calories more.

I think this was the study they referenced. ( I couldn’t find the article)

I can believe it! I can eat 2 cookies at 300 calories and not even notice 😑

HCB I focused on that for at least a decade 🙁 my body cares what I put into it. I starved myself (as in not nursing myself) with 1500 cals of junk food and maintained my 180-190# body for the better part of a decade. Of course I still follow cico, but for me it’s not simply black or white when it comes to weight loss.

One thing that helps me be mindful of what I am eating is to NEVER eat anyplace but at the kitchen table. No snacking on the couch or walking around nibbling.

Kenna you are soooooo right! That is a big problem for me. I snack while laying in bed (right before I go to sleep). When I stick to the “no food in the bed” rule I eat waaaaay less 😔
