So I had an amazing workout yesterday! although I have to admit I was a complete baby about it. I just want to share how difficult starting to workout again. My brain thinks one thing and my body says another. I was on the treadmill and I have a digital guide in my ear telling me what to do what incline to go up, how fast etc. This is suppose to be a 15 minute power workout and I wanted to cry when he went up to 6 on the incline and 3.5 miles an hour. I got my heart rate up to 140 and was so scared it wasn't going to come back down but it did, it quickly came down to 111 after i slowed down the machine. But let me tell you, I was a complete mental whimp about it. After I was done with my 15 minutes I was so totally done but i still had a whole weight training session to do. I would NEVER be able to do this without an initial trainer. FORM is my downfall and it's so so important!! You would think I would know how to do everything since I used to train years ago. WRONG. It felt totally humiliating when I couldn't get the form right for the squats but after i made it through my 3 sets I felt amazingly proud of myself! The workout was brutal but today I am feel like for the first time in years I have hope!! I can do this!!!
