A very good message from you, my dear, and my reply is exactly, wait for tips. It's like choices, decisions, and more choices!

I am sorry you are struggling with diagnosis and treatment. You live in a great area to get excellent care and seek medical opinions.

Great pics Warren they are quite beautiful and uplifting. Second and third medical opinions are always in order as far as I am concerned, it's easy for one person to miss something critical, fresh eyes may have previously unmentioned alternatives and some doctors are quicker to cut and others have a more quality of life approach, look at all of your options.

@Warren, Debrafrederick is spot on. She has a way with words and she speaks the truth. Fresh eyes, different physicians, different approaches=good thing. I do wish you all the best deciding what is best for you because all the info can be overwhelming. Prayers and hugs.

What are you waiting for with the cancer situation? Overall treatment, or nutrition with the treatment, or how to emotionally and generally deal with having cancer? I have experience with many family having cancer and have seen them make different choices, I also deal with chronic illnesses and have some experiences on the choices and consequences of different choices. I would be happy to discuss a little bit with you if you want.

Thanks all, and Debra, I am getting a second opinion. Thanks. I read much conflicting reports on my Gleason 6 (3+3) adenocarcinoma on the right apex of my prostate. Some say no one ever dies from it, others say if it metastasizes you may have a few years. Phataly, you can message me for your advice. Thanks! Thanks, Engeland.

Yes, we go there a lot, Engeland! My friend is over 350 lbs and loves the free food, and he wants nothing to do with diet. lol

Beautiful pics Warren and I also agree with Debrafrederick--get as many opinions as you need. I also had cancer and I currently have a ruptured ACL & MCL--I'm gathering opinions also. Keep asking questions till you get the answers/doctors your comfortable with. YOU know your body better than anyone. I've found most of these tests are guidelines... not gospel...were not "one size fits all" for treatments. There are some wonder people on here for support if you just need to vent and get things off your chest (((hugs)))

........and Debra you are soooooo correct on wanting to cut first and ask questions later. You sound like you get this. I had my surgery authorization like overnight. My dad had cancer throughout and leukemia too and lived to 86. I think I just want to step back and check this out. lol
