Thank you for taking up the cross to defend our country. Those who choose to serve in this way are a breed all their own and show a dedication to protect the seen and unseen enemies of our country. Prayers for the families remembering our fallen hero's everyday an not just one day out of year should be our goal. They deserve the best we can provide. I recently read a story about a returning hero who took his kids to a restaurant and to his surprise the waitress and staff bought a cake from the kitchen and presented to him along with a note stating your dinner has been paid for by a citizen that appreciates all the sacrifice you have given for us. These types of deeds are far and few for those who give so much.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TB, Thanks for your reply. I totally agree. This is a sensitive issue with me, because I went to college instead of serving on a college deferment. I could have been one of the more than 55,000 casualties in Vietnam. Our servicemen deserve more from our government, and it's people it protects.
