Nice!!!! Havent been this low since the end of last month. I may have finally undone the damage from my vacations and my binge week. I completed my best workout in over a month yesterday too. Higher weight more intensity, more reps and more sets wothout hitting a wall half way through! Lowering my step count taking a rest day, dialing in my macros and increasing my calories by 100 made a huge difference. Yesterdays breakdown was Pro 163g, fats 43g, carbs 364g calories 2302.(goal 155 pro, 40 fat, 350+ carb. Calories 2300) . My body just operates so much better when I keep the fats really low. 4 more days and I am adding back another 100 calories of all carbs to my diet. Only 2 more days of being on call left wohooo.

That’s as low as my fats intake. Do you basically just eat chicken breast n fat free yogurts for protein too? 🤣

superman6283 usually lots of boneless skinless chicken breast and venison. When I make my steel cut oats in the morning I always add a scoop of whey protein isolate so that's 21 grams of pro plus 10 from the oats. I will do a half scoop of powder post workout and depending on where im at protein wise sometimes it will be a full scoop but it's very rare.

Excellent work, Otb! Low fat, low kcal protein can also be obtained by eating tuna, shrimp, cod, fish in general, though the fatty/oily types like salmon, mackerel, anchovies, sardines, & herring are very healthy, too. In case you want to change things up.

JustBananas yes I forgot I do eat a decent amount of raw ahi tuna steaks and we do salmon coated with alittle dijon mustard and jerk seasoning in the air frier probably once a week.

We also do 93/7 turkey burgers a decent amount and I go on egg kicks as well when i get boored of oats even though both of these have higher fat contents than the chicken, tuna and venison. I eat very very
Little beef though

Have you been to the doctor for lab tests since losing all the weight and changing your diet (Mediterranean, by the sound of it)? Would love to know if there's been any significant changes to your inside health (A1C, BP, Cholesterol, etc.) since the outside looks fab.

JustBananas. I would say that I am pretty close to being Mediterranean without even knowing that's what it was called or that it was even a thing hahah. I never really went to the doctor before hand and haven't gone after so I have absolutely zero to go on as far as blood work or anything in that regard. I know my Blood pressure is on the very low end of normal now and my resting heart rate is between 47 and 53 now where as before I was resting at 79 or 80.

When I worked for the utility company I had to maintain my Class A Commercial Drivers License, and it requires a physical every couple of years to screen for high blood pressure and diabetes. Some of the guys were a bit surprised when their blood sugar started going up and their licenses suspended until they could bring it back down. Can't have vision problems or numb feet and drive the big rigs. A lot of guys never visit the doctor until they've neared heart attack status, or there's problems under the belt.
