Thank you fellow fasters!! I've ended my fast at 70 hours with two scrambled eggs, and I'm planning to eat some sardines in two hours for dinner - in hopes of keeping the autophagy alive for awhile. I monitored my Dr Boz ratio - 53 this morning, then 43 at mid-day and 26 at 3PM. I wanted to see it go below 40. And at glucose of 71 and ketones at2.5, I was hungry and ready to call it. I feel psyched for a longer fast next week! Now we'll see what the scale says after some food.

Thanks Zenus! @Red Hatter Countess (we''ve got royalty here!) Fasting means 0 calories. I drink water, black coffee, tea and zevia soda (a slight cheat), but I mix it down with water and electrolytes. It's amazing that if I keep my belly full of liquids, I don't really get very hungry. It comes in easily managed waves at meal times.

The electrolytes are important, otherwise I get light headed and trembly. But if I have some electrolyte mix once a day, those weak feelings don't happen. The electrolytes contain sodium, magnesium and potasium along with some trace minerals. It helps my body metabolize my own fat stores (of which I have a seemingly endless supply!)

I broke my fast with scrambled eggs, then later a sardine and smoked oyster meal. I'm delighted that the ketones continued high this morning and glucose low. Dr. Boz ratio of 43 -still in solid low zone. Two meals today - ketovore.

I'm going to do the following regime for a while and see what happens:
Breakfast: Black coffee,
Lunch: BPC (GF butter & coconut oil) & a little pork skins (for the collagen)
Dinner: pig out (pun intended) on full-blown carnivore around 5 pm (maybe 6 pm)
That's what I did yesterday. I couldn't get a true weight in this morning without my clothes, but did one with clothes & it was the same as yesterday without clothes.

You are workin' it! I know you'll keep us informed of results. I had a stray day yesterday. I went for a family day with picnic food at a lake house. And had a little potato salad with my meal. Killed my ketones and BG level, but I'm back on track today. I'm going to eat hearty carnivore for the meals before our fast start on the 9th.

@Erika Thanks! ...so the fast officially starts after dinner tomorrow, right?? When I have a craving for potato salad (LOVE POTATO SALAD!), I make LC egg salad instead. ...but you weren't in a situation to do so. Today is a new day! Good on you for jumping back on track! I hope carnivore works well for you!
