Day 3 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
Yesterday was stressful. Found out a family member has cancer, stage 4 ect. So many emotions, I wanted to eat. Decided to just go crazy with the protein drinks. Got really busy at work so even that plan didn’t work out.
🏃🏾♂️ I was able to run yesterday morning. So glad I did. I need to run. I never regret when I run.
It would be so easy to just start eating from the stress. But, when would I stop? How much food would it take to be enough to ‘stuff all the feelings’?
This too shall pass.
😎 Life is Good! Have a great day everyone!

How much food would it take to be enough to ‘stuff all the feelings’? Good recognition. No amount of food in your body is going to heal the other person. From one emotional eater to another I recognize it's easy to say 'what's the point ... cancer, heart attack, being hit by a bus, doesn't matter, we're all going to die so why not have that 'food' thing'. And the reasons I use to talk myself off the ledge vary. The one I'm using presently is 'I could die today, but in the event I don't, I'd like to be healthy enough to be able to do things.' I applaud you for staying off the ledge. Stellar performance.

Sorry to hear a close one have to deal with stage 4. It may relieve some stress by listening to Episode 40: Professor Thomas Seyfried, at the Human Performance Outliers Podcast. (Free) Paleomedicina is also a name worth checking out. The body has amazing healing abilities under the right conditions.

This relevant feel-good video may have value. [link]https://youtu.be/wczorWhnh5U[/link] Otherwise, in Episode 84: Dr. Zsofia Clemens at HPO Podcast she mention the formula, and also mention something that made me think of you in regards to proteins. These things are what I would share with close ones in this situation. Personally I had a large lump on my back a while back, and it is now nearly completely gone. Expect it to completely disappear in a few months. You have my best wishes for good healing.

Sorry to hear about your family member. At least you are aware of what triggers stress and you are not stress eating. Exercise is a great stress reliever. 😊
