EDIT: My girlfriend's non verbal response to seeing my pants about to fall off:
31 minutes on the exercycle for 5.3 miles and 220.5 calories burned.
My lowest weight in decades! Very low blood sugar reading after the simulated 12 hour fast period, where I only had water and did not take any medicine including the Metformin. I was thinking of just going along with my weight at 180 but now am determined to make it down to 175 as my new goal. 175 really has a nice ring to it but it is going to be expensive. I have only had these 34 waist pants a couple of weeks and when I just did the "could they drop without a belt" test, with very little pulling on my part, they hit the deck!EDIT: I weighed in two different times at different locations on the tile floor with the scale calibrated each time. That figure is correct regardless of what this website's computer algorithms might think. Perhaps it might be happy if I posted a pic of the falldown test? ;-)
According to the Mayo Clinic'swebsite, that fasting reading is considered normal but I wonder how it will be interpreted by my physician as the diabetes drug, Metformin, does stay in your system for about a week. My hope is that perhaps he will cut my dosage in half and I would go the next 6 months at a 'maintenance" level. Got my fingers and toes crossed!
