218.2 lbs. Was 226.4 lbs a week ago. Keto always give me a fast start as using up stored glycogen releases excess water. I'm happy with this start, now to just keep it up. One day at a time.

Thanks Brenda. We're going to a dinner theater Sunday so I need to be prepared to make very wise choices there. My wife has decided to try keto with me so that should be a plus.

Yeah, can be a real shock to some folk when they hear the 'no can have' list!

Good on ya, Jmb3450! As long as folk understand that it would not be healthful to keep up that pace of weight loss, and embrace the slow but steady (and healing!) rate of loss. :) You're right - one day at a time!

Thanks for the encouragement. Weight loss won't continue at this pace and I wouldn't want it to. But it's a good morale booster to start things off, and just the way my body reacts to starting ketosis. KaysealLove, I hope you get good results when you weigh in.

Sharing the triumphs of keto together will be encouraging. Enjoy the dinner theater, that sounds like fun!
