I am strong, determined and dedicated.
Yesterday morning started out at -9 degrees Fahrenheit when glancing at the weather app on my phone around 4:00 AM . With a an expected high of 16 degrees, I wondered how I would get my 12K steps in for the day because my 2017 criteria for lunchtime walks during the winter when I am in the office is that the temperature has to be over 30 degrees with winds of 10 MPH max. The ground also has to free of ice and finally no precipitation. I am a warrior. I am strong, determined and dedicated. I bundled up, changed into my boots around 12:30 PM and went for a half hour walk with an outdoor temperature of 11 degrees. It is 2018, a new year, a new me. The 2017 version of me was old, cold and weak. Bring it on 2018!
Fast forward, it's 7:58 PM, Jeopardy is ending, banged out 20 minutes of H.I.I.T on the treadmill (15,924 steps for the day), 7 minutes of bicep curls and 3 minutes of pull ups.
I wrapped up the evening with my 1st of the day @ 8 PM, YES!!!!, a 24 hr fast. The meal was a GIANT steak on a plate and in a separate bowl, lettuce with 2 TBS of ACV & 2 TBS of Blue Cheese dressing.
What a great day!!!! I am strong, determined and dedicated.
