38 days to go 20.6 lbs to go 36 hr fast so far
2.17g carbs ( under 25g) 15.14g fat (81-107.. working on my stored fat!!) 0g protein (65-82) 152 Cals (1119-1358)
So I took the plunge and went back to fasting Finally finished the " complete guide to fasting "..I think longer fasts will be the answer for me entrenched insulin resistance.. this is also how I got down to my lowest weight of 160.4lvs in August, before the wedding😁
For those of you who fast regularly, do you still use macros as a guide when you're not fasting / is that what you use monthly averages for? And advice gratefully received
Off to the hairdressers to get rid of my pesky roots
Have a happy and successful Wednesday fs friends 😁😁 Ps I'll post a bunny photo separately 😉

When I'm doing it properly I don't use the macros particularly. Stick to real food, low carb/high fat, eat until you're comfortably full and eat only when hungry.

Thanks mini.. that seemed to be the Just of the second book, now I've finally finished it.. well, that and the fact that I should probably do longer fasts if I am serious about losing this weight..
So aiming for at least 49 hours.. ideally, I would like to beat 74hrs, my previous longest fast, but maybe that will be next time!

From reading other stuff - like on diet doctor - they reckon that women need to fast for longer than men - probably because we naturally have more body fat. Where a bloke can lose on 12:8 a woman is better on 18:6. I actually find it easier not to eat at all than have to keep my eating in check. Just drink lots of water and make sure you keep your electrolytes up - a lot of people take salt, but I'm not fond of the taste of it.

Thanks mini.. I've also started back on the magnesium citrate.. it seems to help prevent the migraines that sometimes get triggered when i'm fasting
My middle section is still massively squidgy with fat, even tho I've lost inches, so I think o can defo live off my day fir a few days 😉

Nice loss - With this talk of fasting I am on for a 18 hr fast today, my first for 3 months or so. I am feeling very comfortable with only a slightly rumbly tummy. Even after 24 hours on lowish carbs I seem to have quite a lot less hunger pangs.

Stay strong Poppycom. You got this. I am utilizing a 5 day Fasting Mimicking Diet I came across yesterday to prepare me for longer fasts as describes in the complete guide to fasting. I too think I have some serious insulin resistance to which is my own fault. These dang starchy / processed carbs addictions, uugh!

My middle is my big bit too - though I don't have the boobs like you do (unfortunately). Skinny legs, skinny arms, flat butt and a big belly. Now getting better due to the fasting and autophagy.

Lol coach Ches.. saw your post just as a wave of hunger hit me..
I haven't got a sweet tooth really, but starchy carbs.. oh boy!
After reading the complete guide to fasting ( which I've had since April!) I've realised it's def gonna take a bit more hard work to reset my weight
