Homemade pizza last night to start the carb load. Chicken, almond, garlic pizza. Awesome.

There is a restaurant here that makes what they calk "1849 pancakes" with a sourdough batter which changes the taste and texture...YUMMY! I get them on special occasions only!

Corn cakes aren't bad, either, use cornmeal instead of flour, they go by a lot of different names.

The Texas State Fair takes credit for inventing corndogs, I don't know if that's true or not, but that corndog batter with the hint of honey added to it would make fantastic pancakes.
