It's been a slower go of it the past 2 weeks. 100% compliance, but less exercise due to huge heat wave. I'll be exercising more this week and lowering my carbs just slightly and see if things move more. Not discouraged - I expect it to take a year to get where I want so week by week I'm only making sure I'm on the right track :-)

Slow and steady. Stay the course. You got this!

If you can exercise inside, that's good. But if that's not possible, by all means take it easy in the heat. Better to take a bit longer to lose than to collapse from the heat, which is easier to happen than you might think! As FTC said, slow and steady is the way to go!!

I have a recumbent bicycle I can use, but I hate wasting energy on doing a fake exercise - I love putting my effort into my extensive gardens that pay me back with beautiful, tasty, healthy organic produce, lol! I will work out there up to 100 degrees or so, but it gets over 105-109 a few times a summer and that's just too much. Evenings always tend to cool off so I shift to then or early morning to get my work done.
