Doing so well.. I almost regret I have a cheat day (well, weekend really) planned for Memorial Day Weekend. But I've had it on the books for a long time as I'll be with family and want to be able to enjoy myself. Gonna make an effort to cut down on the snacking that I usually do there, and strive for smaller portions and maybe it won't be too bad a hit. And then it'll be back to all systems go come Tuesday

What I find helps me is to decide what I am going to allow myself to indulge in-say rice,or bread, potatoes,or desert. Just ONE of them and in a limited quantity. Recently I went to a gathering of old friends & most of what was there would have been disastrous to me. To make matters worse someone made me a plate of food. (yikes!). I managed to eat healthy, push around the un healthy and sneak off to dump the plate with the leftovers. Desert was a variety of bakery pastries. I decided which one I would enjoy the most, took one and slowly ate it,savoring each SMALL bite!. It was delicious; I enjoyed myself, didn't feel deprived and didn't gain weight. You got this!😊
