I swear by LCHF. It's the only thing that has EFFORTLESSLY allowed me to drop the weight and feel great. Go on the dietdoctor.com website for help getting started and to understand all the science. Good luck my friend.

Hey Ches! So happy to hear that you're healing and feeling better! And what a fabulous job you've done keeping your weight in check. You totally rock! =) I read your posts about the treadmill, and it makes me want to get a new one once the insurance $ comes through. My previous one - which I am sad to say I took forgranted- burned to ashes in the house fire. It was such a great tool for exercise in the winter and now I miss it. Thanks for keeping us in the loop,. and for inspiring me to higher goals! Have a blessed day! Annie

Thanks Outlander, Annie and Bill. I refused and am quite surprised that I didn't binge eat while I was recovering and in pain. I am sick of yo-yo'ing so I just stayed steady. I just want to put in the work, and enjoy the results.

Thanks Steven. I didn't have to take time off from work after the accident and I am semi active at work some days getting in 10K steps within 9 hrs. I think the shape I was getting in before my accident helped with the healing even though three weeks seems like an eternity to get better. Spring time is here and I look forward to getting back outside and on the treadmill in the next few days.

I personally like LCHF (Dietdoctor.com), but I keep my calories in line with my Fitbit recommendations. Seems to work for me - I've been doing it since mid Feb - not a hungry day and not a craving since...good luck on your journey.

Hi Ches - glad to hear you're continuing to heal up. Pretty much maintaining your weight while being injured, without logging food, is a win for sure. LCHF is great, one key to it is sticking with it without cheats as that throws you out of ketosis. I can do it for a short term but then have a hard time, so I'm more like Bill in approach and when I'm on target try and limit net carbs. So IMO, if you can do LCHF go with it and the weight should come off.

Glad you are healing and back at it!

Thanks, Frankie, John, Iulani, Warren, 8Hunter6 and Jim. I had so much success in January and February with just keeping my calories @ 1800 per day so switching my approach is exciting and scary. Maybe I will hit it hard for 2 months or so then take a break like I did this month. Who knows but too many success stories with LCHF and Keto for me to ignore at this point.

I am so glad that you are feeling better! Taking a spill isn't easy to come back from but you are definitely a fighter. And your Moms sounds like an awesome lady and a great contributor to your 'don't quit' attitude.
I think you should read up on the LCHF WOE. I'm a noob and finding what works has been a struggle. But it has worked for me so far and it just might be the boost your body responds to. Check it out :)
