Nice. A pound off. at 2400 calories it seems I'm losing a pound a week or so. Perfect.
Down south: Things have turned around again. Actually, it will end up being a positive, but it puts all plans on hold - likely until the spring. Not the way I had seen it in my head, but I believe it will work out. Still heading down next week, but now it will be for slightly different reasons.

Yup, a pound a week is a great pace to have the weight come off, getting to eat that many calories doing it is a plus too. Glad things are on a positive trend with your parents.

At 2400 cals/day, you eat double the food that I do (stifles jealousy). Great job in dropping the pound! Psst: don't forget to hit the grocery store next week before your southernly drive.

Are you following a program NM? Or just doing your own thing? Ive been training using the west side conjugate method, and you wouldn't believe how fast the strength has been coming on. I'm at a 365 Deadlift, 245 bench, and 275 squat. Added between 40-55 pounds to each of the big 3 in 4 months.
