We've had several overcast days in a row, but no rain. Yesterday we did get some sun. I feel more energetic when the sun is shining.
Friday, I puttered around outside. I transplanted some lambs ear into planters to help fill them in. Annuals get more expensive all the time, so using perennials as filler helps. I also planted the coleus I had rooted in water....another money saver 😊 I still need to buy annuals to fill some hanging baskets & a couple of planters.
Saturday we went to the Gym. For some reason, my stomach started bothering me about 2/3 of the way thru. I kinda ignored it & finished my workout. It was fine by the time I finished.
Sunday, I cleaned the Winter crud off the patio table & a couple of side tables on the back deck & swept the deck. Then I trasplanted some ferns in the garden & pruned the potted juniper on the patio area. I also cleaned some debris out from around some of the perennials. After all that, I rewarded myself with a late afternoon snack & my book sitting on the deck 😊🥣📚
I'm having coffee watching the wrens fly back & forth from the birdhouse outside the window. I don't know if the eggs have hatched yet...but soon. Time to make breakfast then off to the Gym.
