Was doing pretty well adjusting to Tiger being gone. Then yesterday I ran across a note from the day before Tiger died. quote: (4/27/15; when I woke up, first thing I did; I brought Tiger onto bed with me in the morning, him purring. We were together a long time, with Tiger happy, both of us happy and content, petting Tiger, slowly waking all the way. Tiger hasn't purred much lately, so it was very very nice to spend this time with him, and him purring, us together.) Not knowing it’s the last time in the morning for us. Since the very next morning, I found him reaching up to me, heading up on the bed with me when he died. But somehow we must have known, since it was very unusual for both of us to do this. For me to make a point of bringing him onto the bed with me on my waist. and Tiger to purr like this when he's not purred much lately, and and him to stay so long. Usually he gets up shortly. Long ago he used to stay this long at the computer on my lap. I'm getting mixed feelings to say the least. Happy to remember this, but brings back a lot of sadness.
