Back to my scales this morning. Up a little over a lb. but back to my WOE today. My fingers were swollen yesterday morning. I tried to put on my rings & the one I wear on my right hand was so tight I pulled it off. It always fits tighter than my wedding rings but it was uncomfortably tight. I haven't tried it again.
I ate reasonable portions of the food I had over the weekend but I know it was higher calorie. I also don't usually have large meals for both lunch & dinner. If I eat lunch out I try to have a very light dinner at home.
I did enjoy myself. I stopped to have lunch with an old friend on my drive to Columbus for the kid's (son & granddaughter) birthday celebration. I hadn't seen my friend since before Covid. We spent a couple of hours catching up.
I stayed with my sisters while I was there. We went to the Christmas in the South craft fair Saturday after I got in town. Then we went for dinner at Longhorn.
Sunday was the Birthday party. My son is turning 50 on Nov. 4th & my granddaughter will be 16 tomorrow. We did a cooking class, learning to make pasta from scratch & Chicken Fettuccine (my granddaughters favorite) Sunday evening I had dinner with them & visited. DIL (with granddaughter's help) made cheeseburgers, fries & broccoli.
I got up Monday early enough to get home in time for Hubby & I to get to the Gym at our usual time.
Today, I've done laundry & stuff around the house. I cleaned up some potted plants I had outside during the Summer, so they can stay inside during the cold weather. I discovered last week the Thanksgiving Cactus I had brought in is covered with buds. I'm excited! I thinks it's the most buds it's ever had.
Need to get up to bed, so Goodnight for now 😴
