I was a bit surprised my weight was up almost 2 lbs. today. I must be regaining water cause I didn't really eat that much yesterday. I even had baby carrots with my hummus for lunch instead of crackers. And my version of the Reuben sandwich was 500 calories (I measured & weighed all the ingredients) as apposed to the recipe's 700 calories. It did spur me to walk this afternoon & pledge to do so more often....as in everyday like I was doing before.
Yesterday I cleaned house....did laundry, vacuumed both upstairs & downstairs & changed the sheets in our bedroom. I had planned to clean the master bath but ran out of steam so did that today and another load of laundry.
I forgot to defrost anything for dinner so made brats on a bun with roasted peppers & onions. I entered 2 brats in my calorie count for dinner. When I realized that would be an extra 380 calories for the 2nd I decided to only have 1 & have 2 hashbrown patties instead (120 for the 2nd). I guess I could have had only 1 hashbrown but what I ate seemed to be just enough. Tradeoffs.
The daytime temperatures are in the 50's this week to low 60's by the weekend. That does make the afternoon walk more enjoyable.
