Two pounds in one day; has to be mostly the sodium from the ham, though I suppose the extra 1120 calories that the Easter bunny brought me (that tasted so darn good I ate it all) may be a contributing factor, lol.
My glazed ham, scalloped potatoes, and bread pudding all turned out really well. I had to quickly google a stove-top recipe for the potatoes when I realized the first recipe needed to be baked at a different temp than the ham. I tossed baby carrots in the pan around the ham when I put my pineapple glaze on; the carrots were really tasty.
Thinking about making soup using the very meaty ham bone, something I haven't tried before. Hmmm.
Off to two Zumba classes today to burn it all off, then I see my doctor this afternoon & I'll have her check out my painful foot with the weird pain bump on the sole.

I walked out of my second Zumba class about halfway through class; a sure sign that the instructor has done a lousy job one time too many. I'm easy going, accepting of different styles; my friends call me Switzerland because I almost never say bad things about people. I have to write a letter of complaint; fewer and fewer people show up for her class, there were maybe a dozen of us there today. She was there early, joined in the class I had before then.
Instead of starting class on time, she stood around talking with a couple front-row pals for 7 minutes. Of the 33 minutes of her class time I was there, my pedometer registered maybe 14 minutes of aerobic activity. She... I'll stop my rant; suffice it to say that she was unprofessional and really ticked me off!
If my doctor tells me this afternoon that I should stay off my injured foot, it will be a bummer that Lisa's "Zumba class " was my last one for a while!

UGh! As much as you love your Zumba she had to be a total screw up for you to leave. Good on you for taking a stand, bad foot and all. Will hold good thoughts for you that your foot isn't too injured!

Thanks, Bella. I have a referral to my podiatrist podiatrist ;no restriction on activities as of yet. Cool, since I haven't been able to go to Gina's class for a month (she was gone then I was gone.) and I plan on being there Wednesday!

So you podiatrist gave you the go ahead to keep moving? That is great!

I haven't seen the podiatrist yet; my primary care doctor didn't tell me to cut down on my exercise schedule. She suggested better insoles in my Zumba shoes & icing after class.
