Paying for Easter's endulgences today! This is the first time I've GAINED in forever! I feel like a LITTLE of it is water retention, because my fingers feel "tight," but I think some of it is actual weight gain. AGGHHH! Wake-up call! Back on the wagon, Debbie! We've got challenges to nail! New start today. Going to be extra strict with myself today. Things I'm doing differently: (1) I'm going to start WALKING this week; (2) I'm going to do my PT exercises EVERY day; (3) I'm going to start counting my NON-fruit carbs to make sure that THEY are under 30g; (4) I'm going to start RECORDING my Exercises again. All that should ensure that I drop this added weight and begin to lose again. Just goes to show that the plan only works if I work the plan!

Lindt makes a chocolate cream filled chocolate egg that is so good, much better than Cadbury. I resisted looking for it all Lent long, but Saturday as I shopped for Easter groceries, I went down the seasonal candy aisle, confident that they would be completely out. No! There were two packages of 6 red foiled wrapped eggs left! I picked up one, thought about taking both, just put one in my basket. Another woman picked up the other. I thought to myself that I was saved! But no, she put it back! I grabbed it and bought both. When I got home I ended up eating 5 of them at 170 calories a pop. Now that is going off the wagon! I'm throwing the other package away. And yes I'm up 1 1/2 pounds, but not recording it today. Back to the straight and narrow! Alleluia!

Yeah some water. You got such good plans on how to get things moving again. I know you will succeed.

I actually just WALKED - once around the 10-acre property perimeter (sounds farther than it is - only 1/2 mile); but, it's a start! I also watered my little "garden." I have several little string bean shoots that have come up since yesteray! I thought it would take much longer before I would see any green! Each giant pot has 8-10 seeds planted in it. One pot has 3 shoots already (only 1/2" tall, but that's since YESTERDAY!) I feel like a new mom!!!

Walking is such an excellent exercise! And I find it enjoyable. Exciting about your garden. I look forward to the pics!!!!

@liv001 - I don't find walking enjoyable at all, but your response to my post was encouraging -- I went back outside and did another lap around the property! I've gone 1.2 miles today!

You don't? Is that because of your pain issues or it is just not for you. I do some exercise I do not enjoy like lifting and squats and lunges but they are apparently good for you. I like nature when I walk. I am having fun listening to all the birds getting twitterpated now as spring is happening. Great work doing it to inspire others!!! And it does.

You've got this Debbie! My bet is most of this is water retention. But, walking is good, especially if you have an interesting place to walk.

If anyone deserved a nice Easter treat, it was you. You are so responsible with your WOE and exercising. So, no need to beat yourself up. I am sure your weight will be down by the time you report again for the Swimsuit challenge; but if you don't, we can all still see how far you have come and know that you will succeed in your quest.

FYI water weight alone can be 1-3 pounds. So give it a couple days.

I'm getting ready to go out for my walk. Today, I'll be attuned to the SOUNDS, @liv001. Yesterday, I was more taking in the sights - three different kinds of beautiful flowers less than 1" in diameter. I DID notice the smell of the freshly-cut grass.
