Somewhat, I met with a new primary care physician. I did most of the talking, but she seemed to listen intently and focused on getting me up to date on annual exams, which is okay with me. So, I have an appointment to get a PAP and Inland imaging is supposed to contact me to schedule my first mammogram. I hit a long awaited NSV and hit my goal of 180 crunches. I won't be going higher than 180, but after a few workouts I will start to incorporate periodization training to keep my ab muscles from adapting to the intensity of the workout. I tried on every single pair of pants that had been to small AND THEY ARE ALL TO BIG! One pair, I was able to pull off without even un-buttoning. I also realize how many clothes I've bought based on "trend" rather than what actually feels comfortable and looks good on this body type. The beauty of having MS is ya have to get practical about everything. Being a short girl with short legs, flared or bootcut jeans just don't look good on me but they are the majority of what I own. I can no longer wear a shoe with a heel. I've been doing leggings for a long time because they're comfy, cheap, and my other pants didn't fit. But, any pant with to much material around the legs or too long is now a trip hazard. It's going to be interesting exploring what style genuinely works for me at this point, but I'm open to enjoying the experience!
