Back to making lists in my life. Helps me keep track of things to get them done. Got one for today. Ended up with a medium walk last night, 2.4 miles, but also squeezed in a large dog wash, again. Harder to walk on weekend nights with events spilling out onto the sidewalks. Don't get me wrong, it's great that people are back out in the neighborhood. I am happy about that. Another set of baths for dogs is on the list today along with hitting their bedding again. The good news is that the peroxide mixture is working on the skunk oil I can get to, the bad news is that this dog has a double coat so it is tough getting to all of it. He smells really great and then BOOM - skunk! We'll get there though. Watch even gave me credit for twelve minutes of activity while washing him. Fun! I'm going to swim early today - I'm doing it for me. I keep getting to the end of the day and it's so late, but I've been good about walking or dancing around the house or moving somehow, so there's that. Bought groceries yesterday so there's lots of good food back in the house. that makes things easier. Got some stuff in the yard to take care of. Finding out where the skunk got into my back yard is a big one. so much stuff going on, head down, press on. Numbers trending down although I think the blob is holding on for dear life. Still not sure what happened mid week, but we'll figure it out. Press on press on. Cutting computer time until dark. Enjoy the day. Awww. Such a sweet face. Sorry to hear about the skunk smell. I’m a list maker too. Can’t live without them.

😂 katsolo he was probably rather pleased with himself until he realised he’d get x100 baths!! My Labrador loved to roll in a bit of fox poo.. not great! 😂

His expression looks like my dog’s at bath time. My fur baby doesn’t like water. I wonder if dawn dish detergent would help break down the skunk oil better. I know my vet has recommended it with lactating dogs with puppies for fleas. Just a thought.

tomato juice. Work it in as you pour. Have plenty on hand. Let her/him sit for a bit then shampoo with a "odor shampoo". Worked great on our dog with a undercoat.

My first thought was he looks like he got in trouble! I guess skunk is much worse!!! He's so adorable! Hope you get rid of the smell and the skunk!

Yep, definitely has the , I am in trouble look. But then again their sense of smell is so much better than ours, the skunk smell must be overwhelming to the poor baby!!

So darn cute! Poor thing and poor you! Hope you're able to find where the skunk sprayed in your yard. Lists can be a great tool, if they are realistic. I would make them, but overloaded with unrealistic amounts of things to accomplish and then get stressed because not completed. I still make lists, but am a lot flexible about getting everything done. 💕

Aww, he is really sorry to have caused you trouble Kat, look at that sad face 🙁. Once the smell is gone, give him a super good tummy rub from me 💞💗💞, even though I'm a cat lover, he has captured my heart.

Wow, sounds like your agenda is full. Sorry about the skunk - that stinks (pun intended). Try working in a ton of baking soda into his coat before bathing. It should help absorb the oil and will take it down the drain when you wash and rinse him. Good luck!

This is bath number two. They all got washed again today and he finally smells good enough to be okay to ride in my car again. It’s been a journey.

Glad he’s doing (smelling better). I’m gonna need one myself here, shortly 😂. Off to workout!
