I been copping these "same day in row" numbers for few weeks now. I love it! Anyhow, Imma assess this 114 high is still inflammation and water retention holding on from last weekends workouts. They were definitely doozies.
Especially, the ab cruncher (a.k.a. modified toes to bar) with 8 lb leg weights. I do 3 sets of 14 on those. My tummy is not as swollen as it was yesterday, but it's still puffy and honestly takes about 4 days to fully recover.
The definition and tightness that comes after is awesome, but the recovery part is always tough and as I stated yesterday - laughing, sneezing, and even clearing one's throat is a monumental effort, LOL.
For this reason modified "toes to bar" is only done every OTHER week! :-)
