Another long walk last night, not as chilly this morning, going to stop working for the money at 2:00 and get in the pool. Plans to make some soup again this afternoon. got a big bag of overpriced organic sweet potatoes yesterday, but wow, are they beautiful. Some gorgeous apples as well. And spinach. You'll be seeing spinach again. I missed it. Talked with nutritionist last night, doing another week of not the same old thing (chicken) and going to pare my intake a bit, but not mess with the protein. Still torn on Thanksgiving plans. I think I'm going to end up staying super local and not expand the folks in my little pod of safety even though it just sucks.
I know I said I'm expanding beyond chicken (salmon tonight), but I did also get two pretty little whole chickens to make this week. Along with the apples and potatoes, I may just end up using the big oven since it would be nice to warm the house up a little anyways. My apples got switched out so I need to see what they ended up sending me. they're large to be gala, but all perfect.
