So frustrated with myself, but to put things back into a positive mode, my Christmas gift to myself is registration for the Avenue of the Giant 10k that is in May. I ran it before, but it's been awhile since I trained so this will help me get back motivated and headed back in the right direction. Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Hanukkah!

That is terrific. It's important to have a plan. I never thought I'd be a runner, or even want to do that (maybe thought I was too heavy to do it) but I discovered this guy, Matt Frazier back in June. He has been really motivating me to up the ante on the exercise. He's got running groups and tons of advice to get back in the game, or to get started. You might want to check out his website and see if there is something there to help? http://www.nomeatathlete.com/ Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Thanks, I will look it up. A couple of years ago I ran an half marathon, and I will be training with a friend so that is helpful.
