Posting my weight because it's the first of the month. I set a monthly goal of 5 pounds. So far this year I haven't accomplished even one month. I need to go to the grocery store to buy some fruits and veggies. I don't have much now. I always eat the produce in the house before I go on vacation so it isn't old when I get back.
I stuck to my plan as far as calories yesterday. I even took Bobby for a walk and he was excited. I walked with my niece while in Washington and a little bit in Oregon so want to keep it up at home. The hills keep me from walking very far until I get in better shape. I still have back pain and pains on both sides below the hip. Don't think it's the sciatic nerve any more before I don't get the pain going down the leg and calf.

I am right there with you on not meeting my goal! This month has to be different, that's all I can say. When I lose the weight, I might still have aches and pains but they won't be from my clothes being too tight!

Abba - I have so many aches and pains. It seems to hurt more in cold weather. My doctor tells me when (not "if") I lose weight some of the problems caused by pinched nerves will go away or be better. Liv, Misty, Maine, and Melissa - let's hope April is good for us all! I feel good that at least I don't weigh more than I did January 1st when I set my goal of 5 pounds a month or 60 pounds in 2022.
