OKkkkkkkk, finally back below what I was after the holidays and after off/on eating my woe. May not be much down (from 167.6 to 167.2) but I'll take it. Now to keep going down! I've added blueberries to my daily food group. I've read how they are the best fruit and full of healthy benefits. I know there are carbs but seems like the benefits make it worth it. I'll adjust the amount if I see they cause a gain. Also I'm going to try to cut out or at least down on red meat & pork, staying with fish & some chicken for protein. And a lot of green leaf veggies, Olive oil, coconut butter & oil and almonds. Going to try to stay away from other nuts as they trigger an 'over eat' response for me. Whew, we will see how this goes, it has only been a week so far but I feel good. Yes I miss the evening glass or 2 of wine but not the results such a treat causes, so I just need to remember that when I am tempted. My kids are coming how this weekend and that is normally a temptation for me in the food & drink department, hopefully I will remain strong! Hope all is well in FS Land and take care to ALL :-)

Fantastic! Definitely take the win! It doesn't matter how long it takes as long as we keep moving in the right direction!

Great job, @JMA312! Keep up the good work! Giving up things we love (like your glasses of wine) takes strength. Doing it when we have company is even harder. I have faith in you, though! If you want to decide to have ONE glass - just work it into your macros early in the day.

Nuts trigger an over eat response in me too. I didn't know there was such a thing, but the more nuts I eat, the more nuts I want to eat.

I eat 1/4 cp blueberries most mornings on my LCHF diet. I alternate with blackberries, raspberries and occassionally mix with cranberries. Blackberries have the best net carbs. I think it is important to find a way to squeeze in produce rich in healthy antioxidants. Eat the rainbow!

Veggie - I love the berries and they are a really good source of fiber. It's so hard to get the recommended 25 grams of fiber daily, but a cup of raspberries or any berries with seeds really help

I love blueberries and raspberries, but the little seeds in strawberries help keep things moving
