I hate the "new" way it is set-up...especially OPGF...(Other People's Gross Food)

Good I'm not alone. I promise I won't post photos of crispy, charred mouse nose. How do you make it? Step one, bill the snot out of it. *Gag*

That should read 'moose'. And yes, is a thing.

I am definitely not a fan of all the pics. I miss the conversations.

And that should be boil, not bill. Doing this on my cell phone. Power has been out for two hours.

NM.... too funny. I do visuals and thought, damn talk about a diet. No, I don't like it either. Creature of habit I suppose. Some pictures are okay, but I too liked reading the posts.

OK - you boil moose nose and you actually admit to eating it???? Ewwwww
|
Well NM that's a mental picture I wish I didn't have.....thought you were supposed to be posting an empty plate picture....I quit looking at all the "food" pictures...as soon as I could figure out how to avoid them :)

I have almost completely stopped looking at the community portion of the app because I grow weary of scrolling through pictures. I agree that the food pics are often unappealing.

I don't eat moose nose, but is a legit delicacy up here.

I don't get the whole food picture thing but I guess if it's helping the members to stay on track then that's a plus for them. I just scroll down like I do with the posts that are in a foreign language.

I'm tired of seeing food. I want before and after pics of people instead. That inspires me.

I agree - I set mine to "everyone" but still I'm not seeing as many requests for help or sharing of challenges and successes. I'm not interested in looking at people's meals and to me this seems like an odd/possibly unhealthy choice for a diet site. I'm not a huge fan of social media in any form but the food tracking option on this site has been a huge help to me.

The food tracking has been really helpful for me. Mostly the tracking of Macros. I was staying under my calorie counts and was not loosing any weight. Once I started tracking my macros I noticed that the weight started going down.
The picture option to me is helpful as this gives me options of what I might want to try out. Helps me see what others are eating.
As for pictures of results I took some pics of before when I was 180 and now that I'm 165 but I think I look about the same. But then again I have been doing light weight or body weight exercising with more cardio. I will start to increase the weight and I'm going to try and increase my muscle mass.
Will see how this goes.

Well stated, NM, "more about food than diet", there's got to be a profit motivation for the site owners to keep the Featured feed so uninviting.

On the bright side, seeing all the images of food makes me loose my appetite really fast.

I set mine to following or everyone. If the pictures were of good healthy food I wouldn't mind them so much but the other day the only thing I could figure out what was pictured was a McDonalds sausage mcmuffin.

Right-Now-Or-Never and everyone else on this post, did you see the success of Nayab Sher? She shared two pics. What an inspiration!!! It made my Friday.
