Diea's Journal, 07 January 2017

Okay, something is wrong. I want to eat crap all the time now. I had pancakes with syrup for breakfast, corn on the cob with cheese and mayo for lunch, and a fast food dinner of cheese fries with thousand island sauce and a pineapple shake on the side. I feel so FAT! I can actually feel my belly protrude out and hang over my pants. Wth?

I don't understand what is going on. I feel so unhealthy. I stopped working out 3 days ago and have been so bad since. It's pretty horrible. I can't understand it. Am I sabotaging myself? If so... why would I do that?

I know what to do. I know what works for me. I know what my body needs to feel good and shed the pounds. I know it all, but I just cannot get myself to friggin do it. I've been on this weight loss journey for so long, and I am depleted of motivation. :'(

I have to sit with my legs open because my belly feels so big. And my arms always have to be pointing outwards, also because of the belly feeling so big.

Part of me wants to cry, and part of me wants to think very negatively and say that this was inevitable. That I am just a fat girl, and that I need to stop fighting who I am. I can see my thoughts headed there and trying to spiral me downwards. It's insane.

This too shall pass, right?

Yes. This too shall pass. It will. I do similar, I think I have a sense of the frustration you're feeling. Remember: tomorrow is a new day and you can start again. Maybe think about what little thing here or there would make a diff, I.e., find a walking pal, find a 'healthy out to eat' pal, decide to go a bit easier in yourself, forgive yourself. You are not alone in this!😊

Hang in there! But don't kid yourself, "it" may not pass. You may have to kick "it" and fight "it." But the fight is worth it. You are worth it. Don't let food run your life. Eat to live, don't live to eat. You can do it!

The more you eat like this, carbs, fried and sugary stuff...the more you crave it. Once you stop eating these types of food, your body will want healthier choices. You have made great strides in improving your health. You can do this...

Every hour of every day is a chance to cut down cut back think about how you are however slowly working on it be pleased with yourself. Why would you care if you beat yourself up? Even worry is a step towards success you can do it! Choose each success smile and say yes to healthy.

You're not alone Diea, so please feel better because we all have those days and sometimes even a week like that. I was on the fast food kick last week, but doing better this week by just having soup for one of my meals. Good Luck!
