Instant Enlightenment 9
Reading your own mind.
This is best done by standing back (inside your head) and just observing your mind. Focussing physically around the head.
Then letting the mind open up, as it does when responding to a question.
It lifts, it opens, it listens.
Maintain that state of mind. Consciously retaining the Lift in awareness, retaining the open mind, and listening.
Now, in this state of mind, there is a completely different perspective, awareness.
Explore.
Explore the mind by roaming around in the physical proximity of the head, seeing how different focus in the different areas and directions are.
I find that focusing forward is quite different than focussing outward in all directions. Pushing forward is a release of hostile feelings. Pushing forward and down releases physical pain.
Focussing outward in all directions opens to bliss. Expanding the mind this way brings happiness, contentment, and peace.
Experimenting with this is something to do every day. Many times a day, so the ability to do so is refined. Practicing often, decreases the time to get here.
