My dear MIL fell on Tuesday and broke her hip. I have been staying at the hospital with her all week. I was afraid to leave her here alone because she doesn't hear all that well and gets confused sometimes. She had some horrible times but is improving now. She is almost 91 years young. Lives independently and still drives her car. I pray she will regain her normal lifestyle.

(((((Hugs))))) and prayers for a speedy and good recovery for your MIL. It is truly a blessing that you can be there for her. I join in your hope that she will regain her lifestyle. If your MIL has the will to do it, she probably will.
Be sure to take time for yourself as well. (((((Hugs)))) for you too!

Hope your mother-in-law recovers quickly. It is such a blessing that you are able to be there for her. Not to disrespect medical caregivers, but no one can match the TLC of a loved one. Take care.
