Crazy day cooking up baked goods for a dear friend's grandfathers wake tomorrow. A smear of this, a taste of that and so it went. The only good thing is I never sat down long enough to eat a proper meal so the calories shouldn't be too insane from just nibbling and tasting. I am more worried about alcohol tomorrow than food. A good Irish wake is never a dry affair.

Met my step goal just cooking, thats a first. between the bad weather and feeling poorly I haven't been getting much activity in. I think its going to be a looonnnggg sssllooowww loss again. I am ok with that.

So I was concerned that posting here that "long and slow is good" came with some 'extra baggage/loaded meaning' -- so I Googled "good things that are long and slow" to come up with an apt metaphor . . . that didn't help!;) Anyway, I think you know what I'm trying to say!!
