HALF MARATHON, here I come!
Down 2.2 since last Wednesday's weigh in. I am focused.
Wife is signing us up for a half marathon in Vermont taking place sometime in July. What am I crazy? Even for a 5 K I did 5 years back, I never jogged it completely. I jogged, walked, jogged, walk. No worries. I found a 24 week couch to half marathon plan that suits me and I am week on of 24 and my second interval training is tonight when I get home.
Last week really set the tone for this year. I logged over Eighty Six Thousand steps on my Fitbit in 5 days beating out my FS buddy Jim who wasn't in that challenge, but cheered me on because that what buddies do.
I am not a quitter. I am logging my foods and not too ceoncerned about my macros quite yet because I have tons of energy, logging my foods and staying on average below my RDI of 1800 calories which should keep me loosing weight at a steady pace as evidenced by the scale numbers.
So thankful to be a part of the FS community.
"By the Power of Grayskull...I Have the Power!" Sorry, just letting the little 80's teenager out of me.
