Cleaning out the buddies.

It's kind of sad. I'm going through my buddies and deleting anyone who is over 6 months old without a post or weigh in. I'm keeping a few who I had good relationships and chats with in the past in hopes they will come back.

Sadly most never hit their goals, though whether they met their goals or not had nothing to do with whether I have kept them.

One was rather shocking. Kingkeld. He hasn't been on here since mid 2014. He used to be a fixture.

People, please stay here regardless or success or failure as there is support and there is always the potential of meeting your goals if you keep your intention in recent memory.

The rest of you? Thanks for hanging around and being a support to me.

That's a hard choice to make. I was absent for 2years due to many problems but was glad to see I hadn't been deleated. And recently gone for almost 2 months for eye surgeries but I did let my buddies know why I was gone. As far as those who haven't met their goal if this site has helped them not gain more that's still helpful we have to remember we're all different.

In the year that I have been really active I have seen a few come and go. It's sad to me that people give up on themselves. I hope they just found a different way that worked for them.

Success comes with friends' support. Together, we can all do it!

I've been off 2 times before but always came back. This is the longest I've stayed on. Cleaning house is prolly a good idea though.

Well, I am glad to hear KingKeld is still hanging in there. On the other hand, I am glad to know that even though I never met my goal, I am not de-buddied. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! It's a good thing I love ya!

I lost so many of my buddies when my account was hacked. So I hang on to the few I managed to find again.

I FS! Am thankful to read about everyone's adventures and glad to have the friendships. I am also glad to know there is support here as we all strive to make our bodies healthier and slimmer. Thanks for being my buddy!

You're annual friend detox. Sad to hear that if any of those buddies do come back they will be without your wonderful input and enthusiasm, but way to simplify your portfolio of buddies.

I don't get on every day but I do try to every week. And I try more slow than steady. It is the plateaus I have trouble with. This site helps me with those.

Right so many among the missing. I'm surprised at John Walsh, he was doing so well. I hope he is OK.

Several buddies have gone on and done as much as they really wanted to. I on the other hand have had my ups and downs...not reaching the goal but not giving up. Every buddy has been important even those who stay for a short while. It reminds me of the persistence needed to make forward movement. Glad to still be here.

Rocker. I remember Rob as well. I really miss him. He just slowed down. He's one I kept because of past interactions. I didn't think a simple comment like cleaning out buddies would bring this kind of response.

I think you touched a nerve. No matter what anyone says we are a kind of family as well as community and losing a member touches all of us.

Ditto to what Nich said. We've all walked the same walk so the connection is more personal for all of us.
