kaylinrenee I have a few different ones for mountain biking and hiking but I feel like they would be bouncing around while running. maybe if I find a really tiny one that straps on even tighter.

I use a running belt that holds two water bottles, there’s a ton of different makers but the one I have is by amphiod. In warm weather I freeze the water bottles the night before

This is great! Yeah I don't know how you could be running that hard and long without a water break!

We used to hike a lot. I don't like the hand-held ones. I like collapsible ones with a vest or belt.

This is great! I used to race walk but I since limit myself to indoor cardio and strength training. Between allergies, weather and achy joints, I have had to readjust my workouts.

Otb: Call ahead to the Spartan organizers and find out if they have volunteers posted along the running sections. The reason you don't see marathoners carrying water is because every mile there are water stations, and volunteers just stretch out their arms with paper cups filled. You don't even slow down as you pass them and grab, gulp, and toss the cup (those volunteers also sweep up the cups).

RunRitz thanks I've been looking at a few options now appreciate it. I like the minimalistic approach essentially the exact opposite of when I go mountain biking and carry everything in the world with me to fix my bike haha

MorticiaAddams thanks I have a bunch of different ones for hiking and biking with camelback and platypus bladders but they will definitely be too bouncy when running I'm going to try a belt first and consider a vest later on if I need more than the belt.
