Liv, do you want to see my tiny hydroponic set up? I can either grow them totally in there or transplant to dirt, which is what I’ll probably do since I eat tons of greens.

I too made slips but never even planted them. Occasionally I found it hard to tell which end was the root end of the potato. Remembering the instructions from a couple of years ago I googled it, and it said: "The pointed end should be down in the water." When both ends were the same and I couldn't tell, the ones I got wrong only rotted in the water. Maybe there's still time to flip yours. It also said to keep the top 1/3 of the potato exposed. The day may come when we will need to eat what we can grow. My love to you.

I didn't research and didn't know sweet potatoes should be put in the water point end down! Starting a few the right way! glad you posted this Snowwhite! I never have been successful with growing them.
