7.7 pounds down from a horrid weigh in on monday. My scale just shows weight, but if I had to guess, it might be half a pound of fat gone. It know the scale will probably jump up a little tomorrow. That is not because I plan to do poorly today, but because yesterday was an unusually active along with low calorie day. I may be a touch dehydrated.
Now the work begins to slowly get some fat to shift. I'm in a good mindset to keep with my plan. If I can just manage to not respond to the unreal amount of stress in my house by turning to food for relief... Be the relief ever so temporary, I will be very thankful.
Still 8 people under my roof with hubby still gone for another week. Actually, we set up a tent outside last night for one girl who needed some space, so to exactly "under the roof!" 🤣 I have decided that the last two weeks the best way to describe what has happened is a high speed mirge with no preparation. Unexpected and unchosen, we have a bigger family now blending different cultures, ages, and ideals. Combine the outcomes of the trauma that caused the "mirge" and it is super tough. Some beautiful and special times, but lots of white knuckle driving right now with a stuck gas pedal. A hard break will make everything spin out of control. We are so busy shuttling, comforting, teaching, helping with legal action. Good gosh, I am driving kids to drivers Ed again. My last kid got his license more than a year ago. This is crazy! 🤣
OK, off to work and a new day full of adventures.
