day 10. muscle up, water up, blob down. Only got the heart rate up to 138 for thirty minutes. I had no idea this was going to be such a challenge. It's good that it's hard to do. I did a tiny walk, but didn't get far. Not sure if it's the meds, but Hogan flipped out when I tried to take the other two dogs for a walk. like neighbor calling my cell phone and telling me to come close windows. he does a very loud impression of a sea lion. so, we'll work on that and maybe get a little more stealthy with our exit. NSV, I saw a neighbor friend who I haven't seen in person for awhile, she was surprised by my legs in my running tights, said that I'm getting my swimmer's legs back and it's also from walking the hills. going to be a challenge to maintain that if I'm really forced to take a break.
took mom to the airport at 4AM this morning. that itself wasn't fun, but driving through my old neighborhood in the early hours was interesting to say the least. when the sunrise arrived, it was so beautiful. I'd forgotten about the sunlight on the hills to the east. too bad I'm a lazy sloth and don't jump out of bed like other people. that's not going to change though. at least not while I'm working.
finished the project from hell yesterday. happy. back to my own stuff and cleaning up eight weeks of neglect.
