Happy Monday All! Took a day off since we get tomorrow off for Veteran's Day. Nice break. Golf today. Warm(ish) day.
Left knee locked up hard on me yesterday - had me concerned. I suppose I pushed it by running twice with only one day in between.
Saturday I really tempted fate, though - ran for 30 minutes, then jumped on elliptical for 30 minutes, then 30 minutes on the stair climber - really pushing hard. Thought - hey - all right, knee feels good - then after gym and house work/yard work yesterday, a bite in the knee and i almost fell down, couldn't walk on it without it buckling for an hour or so. ice and rest and ibuprofen has calmed it down and i learned my lesson. Crud! I really need to have 4 days or so between running.
I consider playing golf while riding in a cart my rest day. So good timing. ;)
Hope everyone gets off to a great start this week!

Sound like you were pushing yourself a bit to hard. Take it easy today and tomorrow. Good luck.

Br_e_co, I completely understand the whole knee thing. I kinda over it yesterday with my hour-ish walk; however I iced it for most of the afternoon and evening. I've learned through the year's not too push too hard, because then I can't do my exercise routines or be able to get around very well for day's. Trust me it's not worth the no pain, no gain! You are very wise to ice and rest. I hope you won't be out of commision for too long. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Truly, J.J.

thanks both of you. agree - as i have gotten older, rather be able to work out rather than go to hard. won't be running for a week or so.
