NOOOOO! KEEP FAITH ALIVE!!!! It ain't over 'til it's over! I saw a man with a full beard dressed as princess Leia...or a monk...I couldn't tell. 

Haha. Yeah. I saw that too. It was princess Leia. His daughter was dressed as Luke Skywalker. That's a dad that goes above and beyond... in a galaxy far far away. 

Insta... sure it was a man? Seems NM's wife had a beard. 

For Safety, a lot of towns and schools are now running Halloween events so the kids don't have to go door to door anymore. A lot of schools set up Car Trunk Trick or Treat. They have the parents line up their cars with their trunks open, the kids walk along with their bags, and each car puts a treat in the bag. A lot of towns are running parades where the kids get their treats walking along a parade route. It's a way of keeping them off the streets (hit by a car), crazies tainting candy and predators. I live in an adult community now, so we don't get any one. But where I used to live, it would be different every year. Some years we would get only a couple, and some years we would get so many, we would run out early and would have to throw some coins in the bag. Go figure. 

Lmao! Yeah, he works at my co-op. They say you are attracted to people who have similar facial features as you, could be why he married her. 

I love a good warped sense of humor. Tis the night for it I suppose.  

lol. Maybe a different guy then. As to car trunk trick or treat. Sounds like production over fun if you ask me. Safer? Sure. So is a rubber room. I understand the sentiment, but why not just have the government give every kid a big bag of candy. It's already a socialist holiday. Give the little tyrants something or they'll make you pay! :D 

We don't get any kids here. They all seem to go to the mall. We have a Trunk or Treat in the parking lot at church. Then a chili cook off with cornbread and desserts. Loads of fun. Lots of games and I take grain free cupcakes. 

It was weird last night. Last year lots of kids almost all the porch lights on in the neighborhood. Last night my light was on and I could see one more light about a block away as my street curves. The neighborhood was darker than a normal night. Only about 30 kids. It was in the 40's and windy, not bad though. Was also giving out handfuls, have a bunch left.  

We also had NO kids....parents are more fearful these days. 

There was also a trunk Halloween thing around the corner from my daughters. The tykes left there and then came trick or treating. I was dressed as a witch, my go to every Halloween:) A few of the "grown-ups" dressed up too. We get carried away with Halloween. House decorated to the nth degress, even lighted pumpkins in bathroom. Over 13 pre teens playing football in the yard. Halloween party. Lots of people took pics of their kids beside the blow up big witch and pumpkins. I gave out candy to over over 250 kids. Very successful night at my daughters. Less houses were lit up to give out candy though. Not like it used to be.
