It IS a conspiracy! I always weigh at least 6 lbs more on doc's scale... I understand weight fluctuates throughout the day, but even at home it doesn't change that much. I actually have weighed throughout the day just to see how much it changed, and it's never but a couple pounds! Doctor office weigh-ins are soooo depressing, lol!

I agree with you all about Dr.s scales...even the gym scale is never like a home one...and I have a digital scale..Deb nice to hear about your good news...Just wonderful..:)

I think doctors offices make their scales weigh extra just so they can blame any complaints on you being overweight.

Mine matches most days within a few pounds. I have clothes on at the docs, not at home, it's also later in the day. The morning I was there with poison ivy it was within 2#. So I figure mine's close to right.

Thank you, everyone. I can see the numbers on my kitchen scale again, so I can measure my food now. :)

Last time I weighed at the doc's office, it was waaay heavier than my scale at home, but I realized after (well, my husband did lol) that they made me weigh with my purse on my shoulder..........BOOOOOO. My purse weighs at least 3-4lbs all by itself!

Last time I went to the Dr I dressed lightly and I always take my shoes off. Weighing with your purse is stupid. I always drop mine. Anyway, I weighed myself at home completely dressed right before I left. So unless I gained 2 pounds on the drive across town (I didn't even drink anything on the way) my scale is different. They have a funky new one.
